Michael J. Pattison, 34, of Durand, died Saturday, December 24, at the University Hospital in Madison. He was born May 16, 1949 in Durand. Michael was the son of James and Maryann (Kinney) Pattison. He was born and reared in Durand where he attended Lima Parochial School and 3 years of high school there. He then attended Mondovi High School and graduated in 1967. He attended one year of college at UW-Rive Falls. He served in the United States Air Force from December 1968 to August 1972. He farmed with his father and for the past year and a half attended Vocational School in Eau Claire. He married Dorothy M. Weisenback on September 9, 1977 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Durand. Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy; his parents, James and Maryann Pattison, Durand; four brothers, Francis, Robert, James and Edward, Durand; three sisters, Kathy, Stoddard, WI., Patti, Darmstadt, Germany, Aimee, Rochester, NY. Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Lima, with Rev. Richard Herrman officiating. Burial was at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Town of Canton, Buffalo County. Military honors were by Robert E. Morsbach American Legion Post 181 of Durand. The family's choice of memorials is for kidney research.
